About
Take your architecture modeling skills to the next level with the help of our online and free Architecture Modeling Course. We'll begin the course with a brief explanation of Building Information Modeling and how you can use ARCHLine.XP as a tool to create BIM model. During the course, we will create building elements such as walls with doors, windows, stairs, ramps, floors and roofs with instant 3D views. Once the model is in place, we'll add various views such as sections, elevations, site plans and photorealistic images, all created from one 3D model. Next step is to create documentation produced directly from the BIM model, such as annotated print layouts, callouts, schedules, quantity take-offs, etc. If you want to get to know the world of building information modeling, this course is for you! 1. 2D to 3D Basics Import DWG, convert 2D plans to 3D, draw walls, slabs, ramps, doors, windows, corner windows, and create staircases. 2. Multi-Storey Building Create upper floors, edit staircases, use multi-layer walls, add roofs, balconies, and railings. 3. Complex Roofs Create sloped/complex roofs, edit slab contours, trim walls, add gutters, downspouts, solar panels, columns, and accessories. 4. Sections & Elevations Create and edit sections, elevations, callouts, shadows, and update connected elements. 5. Dimensioning & Schedules Wall, door, window dimensions, move elements via dimensions, room areas/volumes, partitions, tags, and schedules. 6. Layout & Printing Set paper size, scale, plot stamps, 3D views, PDF publishing, and print queue management. 7. In-Place Massing & Site Elements Use mass shapes, layer tools, link city plan mass, create pools, and import 3D Warehouse objects. 8. Visual Design & Rendering Perspective views, shadows, sun studies, lights/IES sources, materials, render styles, color cards, snapshots, and final rendering.
